1954
The Goldschmiede Stichnoth was founded in 1954 by Horst Stichnoth in Lehrte near Hannover, after passing the master craftsman examination and completing his studies at the Zeichenakademie Hanau.
1959
In 1959, Horst Stichnoth expanded his goldsmith business to Hannover and has since been working with his wife Anneliese Stichnoth, constantly filled with joy and ambition, to further develop and grow the company. The Goldschmiede Stichnoth has always been recognized as a training company.
1980 & 1983
Horst Stichnoth passed on his craftsmanship and love for jewelry to his sons Jörg and Dirk Stichnoth, both of whom started their apprenticeship as goldsmiths in 1980 and 1983. The foundation for the continuation of the business in the second generation was laid.
1983
After completing their apprenticeship and their studies at the Zeichenakademie Hanau, Dirk and Jörg entered the family run business 1979 and 1983. The second store of the Goldschmiede Stichnoth was opened at Georgstraße 52 in Hannover.In the following years, additional stores were opened in Berlin, Frankfurt, Bremen, and Hamburg.
2011
In 2010, Florian Stichnoth, son of Dirk Stichnoth, began his apprenticeship as a goldsmith in the family business, thus laying the foundation for the third generation.
2021
Another milestone followed in 2021 when Malte Stichnoth, also a son of Dirk Stichnoth, joined the company. A year later, his brother Florian followed suit.
Over the years, the company has continuously evolved and grown. The family's joy for jewelry and work, as well as their strong ambition, drive them forward.
Legacy & Innovation
The now third generation is ready and leading the company into a new era. Malte and Florian Stichnoth are preparing the company for the future with their new approaches, without losing sight of the values and heritage of the past decades.
